A Statement of our Beliefs

Godhead- There is one and only one living and true God. The eternal God reveals himself to us as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, with distinct personal attributes, but without division of nature, essence, or being.

Jesus Christ- He is the eternal Son of God. He was miracuously incarnate yet divinely human. Jesus is the atonement and life and resurrection reconciling humanity to God the Father.

Fall of Man- Created by the special act of God, in His image, but by man’s free choice fell from his original innocence. All humanity are sinners by nature and choice, yet potentially redeemable by God into fellowship with God.

Salvation- Salvation includes regeneration, sanctification, and glorification. All who freely accept Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior receive God’s gift of eternal life.

Eternal Security- Everyone who accepts God’s gracious invitation of salvation is forever guaranteed a reservation in fellowship with God for eternity.

Assurance of Salvation- Because of the atoning act of Jesus Christ, anyone accepting Him as Lord and Savior are guaranteed life everlasting.

Holy Spirit- The third person of the Triune Godhead possesses unique and definite characteristic, essence,and being.

Spiritual Gifts- The Holy Spirit endows believers with supernatural abilities for the advancement of the kingdom of God.

Believer’s Purpose- By participating in the kingdom of God work in the local body of believers, i.e. the church, a believer fulfills the evangelical, missionary, and disciplines of a purposeful life.

Biblical Interpretation- Accepting the bible as infalliable and inerrant, interpretation occurs in an exegetical application combined with a long tradition of religious teachings.

Ordinances and Government- There are two biblical ordinances, i.e. Baptist and the Lord’s Supper. Polity and practice reside in a theocracy channeled through the local church.

Satan- The antitheses of Jesus Christ contiues to plague mankind until his final demise at the end of time.

End Times- The transformation of this current age until the coming of Jesus Christ ushering in the eternal Kingdom of God.
